Our friends at The American Mining Rights Association are throwing their annual outing in Morristown, Arizona, and you are invited!

There will be many things going on, including the attendance of some of the greatest minds in motorized access and mining, such as Bill Southern, Bryan Wilder of Bering Sea Gold, and hopefully Pat Keene and Benjamin Burr. This will be an opportunity to learn more about gold prospecting, talk to lifelong miners, and get the hands-on experience you need to be successful at gold prospecting.

We will be attending the event. Just look for the Jeep! I will be leading a trail ride Friday afternoon that will end at the event location. We will camp for the night and attend the AMRA outing the following day. If you wish to join, you are welcome to come along. Information on the trail ride is below.

Friday trail ride

As mentioned above, I will be leaving Friday afternoon to cruse some trails. Our route will take us about 4 hours. We will make the location of the AMRA outing our base camp. In between spectacles, we will explore the surrounding area.

We will gather at the McDonalds on Carefree Highway and Interstate 17 at 12 P.M. and be on the road by 12:30. Our route will take us about 4 hours and be suitable for any 4wd vehicle with good ground clearance. We will take Morgan City Wash from Lake Pleasent to Castle Hot Springs Road to travel to the AMRA event. If we have time, we will hit some side trails.

Throughout the weekend, I will be exploring some of the trails in the area. There are several places to check out and tons of fun trails.
